This study investigates the integration of generative AI into the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) model to enhance educational internationalization and social entrepreneurship education. A four-week program with 30 postgraduate students in Russian and Spanish demonstrated significant improvements in intercultural competence, social entrepreneurship skills, AI literacy and ethics, and linguistic self-efficacy. The mixed intercultural groups showed the most pronounced gains, suggesting a synergistic effect between intercultural exchange and AI-mediated language support. These findings indicate that the AI-COIL model is a practical and scalable approach for advancing internationalization and responsible AI use in higher education.
